Perfect and thanks for fixing this. My update had the obvious flaw
that it did not work for native windows but I pushed it anyway in the
hope it would get fixed.

As I have reported I can't get the free tool chain from Microsoft
to
work for me. Suggestions are welcome.
I continue to use a copy of Visual Studio 6, so I can't really help
you, but I think I (or maybe someone else?) posted patches a long time
ago to build with VS2005. They're not fully compatible with the
existing build system, IIRC, which is why they didn't get applied.
What version are you trying to use? Can you point me to a download
location?
