Probably because only Aidan offends in every single ChangeLog.
I wish you'd submit those as separate patches, though.
I can understand that. Only, this wouldn't be a problem if everybody
committed whitespace clean patches in the fist place. I almost took
maintainership of whitespace.el for that.
