Seems OK to me too, although the small quantity of code visible in the
patch suggests the style of gnuclient.c itself is, er, abominable.
I noticed in fiddling with some alternative ideas that (goto-line 0)
and (goto-line) both "work"; ie, point moves to the beginning of line
1 and returns a negative number. Is this a good thing/intentional?
