YES !!!! For some reason I seem to recall that I raised the issue
several times in the past but some people disagreed because going from
lib/ to share/ would have an impact on end users.

1/ does the package system search for share/ and then lib/, or did you
just discard lib/ (that would be rude) ?

2/ I install my packages from CVS.

Did you modify the infrastructure to install in share now ?
