[Q] Support package-prefix and fix mail-locking in configure

QUERY +--package-prefix=PATH Specify a directory under which packages will + be searched. The directories `xemacs-packages' and + (if MULE support exists) `mule-packages' (along with, + optionally, `site-packages') should exist under this + directory. This is preferred to specifying + `--package-path' directly and is equivalent to + --package-path="~/.xemacs::${package-prefix}/\ + site-packages:${package_prefix}/xemacs-packages:\ + ${package_prefix}/mule-packages" + (or the same without `.../mule-packages' if no + MULE support exists) As far as I know this is incorrect. ~/.xemacs is not a package hierarchy, it is a package root, and therefore there should be ~/.xemacs/xemacs-packages, etc. Mike? The following two suggestions are "as long as I'm thinking of it"; neither needs to be be done in _this_ patch (but I wouldn't cry, either). I would also support removing --package-path entirely.
