Hi! When installing xemacs-21.4.5 on my HP-UX box I found, that LDFLAGS is not honored in Makefile.in.in. I can successfully run LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/lib ./configure --options and my additional libraries are found, but the compilation phase fails, because LDFLAGS is not supported in Makefile.in.in.
