Windows Installer:

1. (De facto Owner: Charles Waldman) It must be tested and shown to work on all of Windows 95, Windows 98, NT 3.5, NT 4.0. If it absolutely will not work on NT 3.51, this must be noted when you run the installer.

2. (De facto Owner: Charles Waldman) The installer should be mentioned in the same place as the other binary distributions, and its operation needs to be documented somewhere on the XEmacs web site in addtion to being mentioned in the INSTALL file.

3. (De facto Owner: Steve Baur, Jason Mastaler) This installer needs to be available on the ftp site in the same place as the other binary distributions.

4. (De facto Owner: Charles Waldman) Needs to contain self-contained and native versions of certain utilities, at the minimum grep, perhaps also diff, ispell, etc.

Subprocesses on Windows:

1. (De facto Owner: Charles Waldman, Jonathan Harris) Must work at least somewhat (as well as possible) on Win95 and Win98.

2. (De facto Owner: Charles Waldman, Jonathan Harris) What works and what doesn't should be clearly documented.
