Ok, let's leave out that one then. Does anyone have any suggestions
for a more polite way to express "Read it or don't moan"?
What
about:
The file README.packages contain information vital to have a fully
working XEmacs. This information was not included in this file only
because it is too large for this terse INSTALL.
and/or:
The importance of reading README.packages cannot be overstressed (I
*mean* it: You are likely to be flamed to death if You post a bug
report and we can divine You skipped this required reading).
