RE: why is tty support disabled by default on pc-mingw systems ?
Subject says it all.
There's no native windows tty support in XEmacs. I looked into doing it
once, but it didn't seem worth it. The cygwin version is pretty easy because
of curses and the cygwin terminal. I don't know if mingw has an equivalent.
