font size not effected

When I change font size (from options->font size), some fonts are affected: the Tab names, status bar etc.), but most code do not change. The edited code do not change size. I've just saw, that when I have fly spell turned on, and make a mistake, this word to get to be in the new font size. Only till I correct it, and then it goes back to the font of the rest of the buffer. This happens to us in versions 2.4.{10,11}, but works correctly on 2.4.3. We didn't test versions in between.
