Because I saw further in the file that the XEmacs version is not sync'd with the FSF version, I also sent it to xemacs-beta. Because I was not sure the problem was not from makeinfo, I also told Karl. I truly don't know whether such `bug reports' should be sent to bug-emacs, or to the maintainer of the file. I thought the latter was the more appropriate, and I'm sorry if I gave the impression I was trying to help more one of the Emacsen as *it is not my intention*.
