There were some proof-of-concept patches submitted, but no serious
work was done on them AFAIK. You could search xeamcs-beta and/or
xemacs-patches to find them.
Hmm, I've gotten a few requests over the past month or two asking what
happened with this.. now that I'm actually on vacation, I'll try to get
something together for the latest stable and beta versions of xemacs, and
hopefully get it eventually committed. I'll try to send a updated patch out
in the next 3-4 days.
