This was asked before. The distribution has been built against an old
version of Xpm, which got moved. I am planning to rectify this in the next
binary release, but cannot until Stephen has sorted out cvs.

Using the cygwin "setup.exe" tool, I downloaded yesterday the latest cygwin
distribution. All the packages have their own versions, but the actual cygwin
package was version 1.3.3-2. Then I used the xemacs "setup.exe" program
to get the
cygwin version of xemacs 21.4.3. The 21.1.13 (stable) version wasn't
available
for download on any of the sites that I tried. When I try to run v21.4.3, it
complains about a dll that it didn't find: something like "cygXpm-noX4.dll
could not be found in the specified path: C:\cygwin\...\i686-pc-cygwin;..."
This error even though there is an Xpm library in the Cygwin distribution
that I downloaded. Seems like the xemacs binary isn't compatible with the
cygwin distribution.
Any suggestions?
