That’s my understanding, yes. As I understand it, Stephen is the only one
with the access and knowledge to be able to change this, as I understand it.

Hi.
There is now, thanks to Michael Sperber, a repo for working with the
move to GPLv3 or later. The repo is thought to exclusively deal with
the move. No functionality is supposed to be added or removed unless
required for the move to be possible. The repo, that is available for
developers only, is found here:
ssh://sperber-guest@hg.debian.org//hg/xemacs/xemacs-gplv3
My idea is to do the planning, progress reporting (commits!?) and any
other questions that will occur here om xemacs-beta. I'm also on
irc: #xemacs if you want to discuss anything in more realtime.
Yours

No, I didn't touch that. (Just rechecked.) But I did a "chmod -R a+r",
and that seems to've fixed the problem.

Michael -
I'm getting an error on an hg pull attempt from the XEmacs bleeding edge repo:
hg pull -->
pulling from http://hg.debian.org/hg/xemacs/xemacs
abort: HTTP Error 500: Internal error
Thanks for investigating!
- Vin

Actually, that last sentence describes my impression of 2C modes on
Emacs when I tried them last. Not sure whether porting would be worth
the trouble.
